$Bit will have a capped supply of 2.5 billion which will ensure that this ecosystem remains deflationary. BitMonsters token adopt a variable PoS rate to ensure periodically payout as described above.
The BitMonsters tokens are used by BitMonsters community members for BitMonsters services and to store and invest the wealth in a non-government controlled currency. The BitMonsters tokens will also be used as payment currency on number of BitMonsters partner websites.
$Bit will work with a capped referral pool of 500 million, which will be unlocked and distributed to referrals through a rebasing scheme on a monthly basis for eternity. The incremental unlocking will stay fixed within the halving period (which will last 300 days each) but will be reduced once the protocol moves to the next halving period. On every halving period, half of the remaining referral pool will be unlocked and distributed. In this way, $Bit holders who refer to others during Halving 1 will get higher referral rewards than those that refer during Halving 2, and so. In summary, the sooner $Bit holders start referring, the higher their returns.
